Ride Poses!

I would have to say my best one was 3 years ago on the Mean Streak when I rode with 3 of my friends. We all had bottled water and we were all going to be drinking it as we went by the camera...Well, I'm sure some of you know that things don't always work out as planned because the three of us pulled it off, but my other friend missed his mouth completly and water is flying backwards hitting the person behind us in the face, so in the picture the three of us are fine but my other friend is having trouble and the picture of the seat behind us has a person with their arms up over their face shielding themselves from the water while it's hitting them...Luckily after the ride the person was in good spirits and laughed it off...That was a good time

Now that's funny.

My friend had forgot to get his mom a birthday present just before we left for CP. So we went on Maggie and he held up a sign that said, "Happy Birthday Mom, I love you!". She's a big fan of roller coasters too.

Another time I lifted my shirt up so that the coller was over my head so it looked like my head got chopped off (I'm 6'3") and my friend looked at me with a scary face like he just saw my head fall off. Later that day we were walking over by Rapter and these 2 girls stopped us and showed us thier on ride photo. They were behind us and we were in thier picture!

My friend Seth and I have performed the same pose for every (photographed) roller coaster we have been on together. I pretend to be shooting him with my trusty thumb-index finger gun while he is holding his neck in pain. I have a pretty full photo album. When Seth shows his friends the pictures he introduces the album saying, "I have died on over 25 roller coasters."

That was really sweet. Good idea for a girlfriend or boyfriend too. Did the sign come out clearly?

Cedar Point is closed for the season. Reason? Freezin!

Sky-Rider, the sign came out great! His mom forgot all about his forgetting her birthday, well almost.

This wasn't on a CP coaster, but my all time favorite was when two of my crew members went into the park after their shift. On the way up the lift hill, they took their rain pants, put their arms through the legs and pulled them down their torso, and then put their shoes on their hands. The picture was so convincing, the loaders working that shift got called in and asked they could possibly let someone get in the coaster upside down. Darn near got fired until the two perpetrators fessed up. Needless to say, management didn't share in their sense of humor. (Creative, yes...funny, no)
I'm just glad they didn't do it on my coaster.

On Top Thrill the first time I'm gonna stick my two index fingers into my mouth and open wide. Hopefully they'll put it up in the hotshots booth.

Once on Magnum there was a on-ride of someone spraying people with a Misty Mate (personal water mist system). I was one of the people who was fortunate enough to be sprayed by the mist. It was a great cool down for such a blistering hot day.

On Twister II at Six Flags Elitch Gardend (Denver Colorado) they finally started taking ORP for the first time sence they opened. There was a guy who won a Shrek stuffed animal(a BIG ONE) and the ops straped in the animal and the restraint and at the photo booth it looked really good! I think I'm goin go win 6 Shreks and make a full car load. That would be priceless! well except for buying them. :-(

I really dont like poses, but when I am in the mood, I really just do the thumbs up crazed face look.

But, My friend DID do something. He held up a sign that said OUCH! and I was grabbing the lap bar pretending to be in pain. Now, that funny pose really happens alot.

Over the years I have had some good onride photos. On some, my friends and I look extremely terrified by looking straight at the camera and doing the MacalyCaulkin face or biting your finger or just plain opening your mouth as wide as possible. We've also held a bunch or stuff up. One of my friends's photo looked like he was drinking a Pepsi and another held up money and on one my friend held up a map while I pointed to it and looked confused and lost. A personal favorite of mine is taking my onride photo from TTD and holding it up on Magnum's onride photo. Sometimes we give each other roles at the top of the lift hill. ("In this photo you have to look like your a mime, addicted to heroin, about to explode ect.ect.")
I remember seeing this guy on the millennium force when we were going up the hill he was blowing up a alien thingy he won at one of the games! and when it came to the photo he stuck the alien up his shirt and hid his head, it was halarious cause all you saw was the alien head, and the people behind it through it(it was transparent)LOL!!!
First- my TTD pic. http://www.geocities.com/chattychico/ttd.jpg
(My dad was supposed to hold up a zero on the first part so we could show 120/420.)

Carrots, handbags cheese toilets, russians, planets, hampsters, weddings, poets, Stalin, Kuala Lumpur, pygmies, budgies, Kuala Lumpur!

My best was with me my girl friend and like my best friend. we were on magnum, and he pulled his shirt over his shirt back over his head so you could see his face and i was look back at him and me and my girl friend were rubing his nipple ( well had are fingger on it) and his face he made looked like he liked it it it was sweet. We did it 2 times the second time was better ,ut we did not get to see it b/c some one in the car in front of us threw up. but all are friend say it they sad it was sweet and funny but then ever one was look so the took it of no one can take are idew
I was there is 93, my first coaster since I was 7, Magnum, and my sister dragged me on the 1st car, and I was so scared! Well, I had my hands up, and my shirt flew up to my neck line, exposing my bra. I got to the station, the pic was gone, and they wouldn't even let me buy it. How is that any different than wearing a bating suit top on the ride?

those links dont work

Back in 2000 on MF (when there were no lines for front and back cars, they only loaded one train at a time),on our third ride of the day my friends and myself got a great picture. They had just cut the line in front of me, so I was able to get front car, front seats for the first time (very happy). When the camera came around, there's me with a possessed look. My friend in the second row was doing "the thinker" and his girlfriend has this look of death on her face (it was her first time on MF.) Of course I had to buy the photo, just for the record of my first time in the front on MF.

I try to do other poses but they all seem to turn out same.

they only loaded one train at a time

They still do that.
