CP Irvine and I got to go up and play with the new pieces today.. Took pics and will have them up tomorrow..

Very interesting technology, the inside of the towers looks like a much smaller Power Tower with a few changes.

The parts that are here today are as follows.

Base of tower #1 (says T1 on it) - Base of T2
Second sections of T1 & T2. Each 60 feet in lenght. Larger end has a bolt pattern that matches the top of the base secion (base is about 10 feet of valves, tanks, pulley, and wiring then about 30 feet of tower.

Top of second sections have another bolt pattern for another part to be mounted.. but I noticed that the air chamber does NOT continue to the next section (yet to arrive) like it does from base to section #2.

Why hasn't Cedar Point said anything about the ride? Are they waiting until the 1st?

Dan, I know that THIS ride doesn't have track... I was refering to my earlier post. Sorry for the confusion

I can be a tech-geek Dan if I want.. I just tend not to.. I get enough of it at work..

Wait till you see the pics if they came out.. got some nice ones of inside of section #2 and the piping and valve system on the base sections...

I saw one section of white track after coming into the park tonight...looks huge and sort of like a tower with an air compressor in it, don't know too much about anything else..

BTW Rob let me know where your pics are going to be posted...I am seriously interested but have not one clue.

I hope this things height doesn't take away much attention from Magnum. We wouldn't want anything taller in that area that would devalue the appeal of Magnum.
