Ride pieces arrive today!

Today 3 trailers arrived at CP with part of the Structure for the new Challenge Park ride. They are on the bay side of the parking lot. The pieces are painted white.

I am guessing they will move the pieces tonight after the park closes back to the parking lot next to Gemini, they had a section of that blocked off today. *** This post was edited by Lake54321 on 7/12/2001. ***

Thanks for the info Lake54321. I do have a question though... Why is it that all S&S rides are painted with white rails? I can't think of more than 1 S&S ride that isn't white with some colored accents. Is it because they want white rails to kind of be thier "calling card"? Or do they just not have the paint shop to paint the rails any color than white??? Just wondering... And hurray that the pieces for the new ride have arrived, this kind of holds me over until they announce a new coaster!

I went there, and it explains nothing. What is Challenge Park ? is it a theame park or something ?

It is a section outside of the park with additional fee attractions including GoKarts, RipCord, Minature Golf, and Soak City.

Anyone going to get pictures of the structure ? And anyone know how long it takes for the cement to cure ?

Bryan I have been here forever too in fact since the site opened. I would have a ton of posts but I lost my s/n when I bought my new computer and also when we all had to renew our s/n when we got the new forums. Ive never met anyone but I would like too if anyone else would. I too spewey like to lurk in the shadows lol.

Im gonna take pics of this as it progresses seeing as Im at the park alot and I ALWAYS have my digital camera with me. Yesterday I took pics of the footers and stuff......nothing really exciting. Of course the structure pieces arrive the day after Im there.....

Could anyone answer my question about the track being mainly white? I'm just curious if anyone has any ideas or answers.

By the way I believe I have been here since day 1 or two. (My originaly name was something like Raptorboy) however, I rarely post. maybe we should move this discussion to another thread, because I am interested in seeing how long people have been here... but it's not really the topic at hand.
