Ride Photo 2009

So I have an interview tomorrow afternoon about working in Ride Photos.
Anyone else working in this department on here yet?
I'm really banking on getting hired, so I'm hoping to meet some of the people here first.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
And anyone who has worked Ride Photos before, how is the job?

Hi, ride photo is part of merchandise, and even though I haven't worked in it before, it's a pretty cool area to work in. You sell photos to the guests of them riding the coaster. You'll have a lot of fun, I know people who work in ride photo, and they really like it. I'm in merchandise as well, and I worked in Pagoda, and Snoopy Boutique. Good Luck!!

Thanks for the advice and comments!
FSAlex, While working in foods might be more fast-paced and exciting, I have some experience working in food services, and I hated it. haha
I really hope I get to work one of the bigger coasters so I don't have to work alone. Where I work now I'm alone all day and it sucks. I love having fellow employees to interact with. Makes things so much more fun.

So I think my interview went pretty well.
I interviewed with Ryan Reeve. He was pretty nice.
And within about a half hour of my interview he had already contacted one of my referrences, so that tends to be a semi-good sign.
Said he'd call back within a week. I've got high hopes.

3 posts in a row. Sorry. haha
I had another call today from Sam Bryant. He went over some general yes or no questions. That was eas enough and went well.
He said should I get offered a job, I would be notified through mail.
I thought they called you about that stuff?
And my application status has changed to 'Status Pending'.

Sam is the Merchandise Operations Manager. He used to be the photo manager before Ryan got promoted from supervisor to manager.

They are most likely reviewing your work history and references, but "status pending" means that Sam put a hold on your application so no one else can hire you until he either hires you or releases your application. You'll get an automatic email as soon as you've been hired that will ask you to accept or reject your offer online via JobNet.

Alrighty. Thanks!
I know that both my references were called yesterday, and I had the yes or no questions this morning.
Just wasn't sure what the 'pending' meant.
Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.
