Ride operations job assignment on TideBlue.

There's nothing wrong with TB, infact it's very nice, helpful, and well set-up. It'd just be much cooler to have all departments, every single one that could be thought of.

Well heres a few examples of how I see it "ROB":

*You dont tell your new girlfriend that you miss your old one.

*You dont tell your new boss that you miss your old job.

You wouldnt do this because that would make that person feel bad and would not be the polite thing to do. Im not saying that the person in charge of the website feels bad but it indirectly implies that the old one was better whether you meant it to be that way or not. So in a certain regard, you are in a sense downplaying the significance that the website has to the creator and the people who frequent that site. So yes, in my opinion you were bashing the site.

I wouldn't go to a topic entitled "Higbie's old site" and say "geez I miss the tide blue website ...it listed JUST the ride operators" because I would not want "Higbie" to feel like his website didnt fare well when compared to another website. I would simply start a new topic if one wasnt already made and express my gratitiude there.

But calling two guys you have never met before jerks is polite? Even if what we said was misconstrued as criticism, you could have been an adult about it instead of acting like a 15 year old. Neither Rob nor I directly attacked that site.

"Jerks"...OK maybe I shouldn't be so hypocritical but under the circumstances I felt it justified.

"Neither Rob nor I directly attacked that site"...Obviously you didnt read my post, it provides an explaination as to WHY I BELIEVED THAT TO BE TRUE.

OK OK OK, maybe your intention wasnt to "bash or "criticize" the site but in my opinion (at least indirectly) you did. If that wasnt your intent then I apologize for calling you out on it.
