18 to be a sweep? That can't be, I've seen green tags.
I thought it was a little weird too. Then, this summer I was told that they try to keep minors out of jobs like that where they are more likely to come in direct contact with guests (especially when it's less likely for other employees to be around) because of child protection laws. So I guess there is a theory behind it. Maybe if they are short staffed they will fill them with those that aren't 18.

The best way to save money is to stay away from Louie's, and to pack your own lunch. It's not exactly easy to do that, however. The cafeteria took quite a bit (well, more than if I had packed a lunch each day) of my money each week.
I thought you were going to give an example on how it's hard to stay away from louie's for a second. :)
I went to Louie's once. I'm not a drinker, and it didn't interest me much. It's a dump.
But some people seem to have a good time there. It wasn't for me.
Yea Lowies is just a time to talk to people outside of work it can be fun...It was strange at some pionts of the season i found club X to be better then Lowies and then at another point Lowies was better then Club X it all depends on your friends or group...
But anyway Does anyone remember this year when they had Snake River Falls be the ride night like 5 times in a row, the first time it was a ride night it was cool but the 5 TIMES it was ride night after that!?!....not cool, no one would go away un less it was really hott that day.

Raptor ride night was the best (theme wise and we also had the most riders!). :)
Some of the ride nights were cancelled for a ride, but they were replaced by something else. So I dont really think it was a budget thing. Calypso was though.

wicked twister had "follow the yellow track" (clear, you're off to see the wizard in 3,2,1).
Our theme was the wizard of oz, and it was pretty creative if you ask me. We had signs that said "Follow the yellow steel track", on the electrical room door we had an emerald city (that Rob and I spent 45 minutes making), and of course we had the major characters-- Glenda (played by me), the Wicked Witch, a flying monkey, the lion, the tinman (or tinwoman rather!), Dorthy, toto, and of course Rob was the Wizard.
I had a great time with my crew this summer, the majority of them really made the summer fun. And our ride night was cool.
