When do they do ride nights? How ofton?

They have a disaster transport ride night this year in July I think! I got a sheet thru from HR yesterday with the ESD events. June/July are Wicked Twister, Power Tower, Mantis, Corkscrew, Millenium, Disaster Transport, and a couple of others that I cant remember. TTD, i'm assuming, is in May, as it wasn't on the sheet they sent me.

They had Wicked Twister in May last year, but halfway through it turned into Schwabinchen ride night -- it was still cool (especially because I did manage to ride WT twice...)! The year before I think they did Millennium Force as one of the first ones in May, so I'm assuming TTD will be one of the first ones this year, too -- it seems like they schedule the most popular or newest rides first. Can't wait for Raptor and Power Tower night, though, and "midnight at Soak City."

HOLY CRAP there is such a thing as MIDNIGHT AT SOAK CITY!?!?! That is SO cool! Have you heard the cheesy song "Midnight at the Oasis?" That is what I will be thinking of! AH! I cannot WAIT to swim when it is crazy night time! OOH! And water slides?! Can you GO on the waterslides at MIDNIGHT!?!?!? You have just officially BLOWN MY MIND!

The coolest was the Raptor last year in the dark, towards the end of the season. Turning off all the lights just made it that much more fun.

Yes; they have a midnight beach party at Soak City for the employees. Not everything is turned on in the entire park, but a lot of the things. It is so fun!!! They also usually have food and karaoke. So many people go...it is a blast!! ^_^

Raptor in the (total) dark is super-cool too. That's one of the best things about Ride Nights...they're always, well, at night ^_~ and I love riding coasters in the dark.

Second only to Employee Ride Nights are movie nights on the Summer Spectacular screen. Watching the best action movies on a screen as big as the front of someone's house is really cool -- plus they usually start the movie as all the guests are finally leaving the queues for Millennium Force so you get all these folks gawking at you and thinking how lucky you are. Yup!

I was one of those gawking guests last year! My friends and I were all in line for Millennium Force, and we saw that the beginning of the "GLADIATOR" DVD was cycling over and over. I was so jealous! How much fun will that be? I am DEFINATELY looking forward to EVERYTHING!

OMG!!! I CANNOT WAIT! My cousin worked at this water slide and we had permission to use it after hours and water slides + dark = TOO MUCH FUN. Someone called the cops on us though.... I'm so excited for ride nights! I love speed and darkness! Kinda like space mountain at disneyland.... AHHHH Karaoke at the beach?! Movies?!? I want finals to be over NOW and I want to be working! Oh, so what time would you say these ride nights occur? Is it from say... midnight until 3 am? or... well I don't know. I'm figuring it would be after the park closes so all employees can participate.

they start shortly after the closing of the park, and depending on the number of people last between an hour and 2 hours, or for MF ride night, a bit longer

I am in love with Diaster Transport.... i'm not quite sure what it is... i think it mat be the whole darkness thing, not knowing where you are going... even though you already know the layout.... it's still fun
