Ride Names and Freudian Slips

Freudian slips are one of my favorite sources of laughs. I remember standing in line for the Wicked Twister hearing a group of people referring to it as the Twisted Sister. . .umm, isn't that a band? Too funny, just wondering if anyone has any other good ones.

People seem to really like the names, "The Blue Ride", "The Red Ride", and "The Big One Over There".

My all time favorite is "The Ride That Does This (twisting hand and arm in the air)".

Top Speed Race Car. Magnum Force, and Rapture are three that come to mind.

Do you guys know what a Freudian Slip is?

Isn't that what Freud made his wife wear when she rode Power Tower so men couldn't see up her dress?

Everything is stored in UTC, I believe.

But then shouldn't things match-up?

You could record everything on the Mayan calendar, but it still shouldn't show that she posted before she joined.

Unless posts are tracked on local time and join time is recorded in UTC.

It always annoys me that people prefix every ride name with "the".

My mom calls TTD "the top of the dragster" all the time for some reason.

You haven't noticed that it says that on the all the signs? "The Raptor" and "The Magnum". Oh, and my new personal favorite, "The Maverick". People seem to do it more with Maverick than any other ride, and it gets on my nerves too!

^well that's not too bad, considering that was the "pun" that Cedar Point went for... just the other way around.

Anyways, as for actual freudian slips, my personal favorite that I've heard is "Riders, for your tasty..." :)

All the 06 MFer's will remember this as the greatest slip up of all time! And you kids need to look up Freudian slip, because all these responses minus dougs aren't even close!
