Ride hosttraining

I just turned in my stuff for this summer and I was just wondering what the ride host training is like? And, if there is any possibility of getting moved to a different ride throughout the season? Either way, I'm very excited about working there.
The training is real easy. When you sign in on your first day, they give you a book, make you watch acouple of videos, and send you on your way. The books contain descriptions of the ride and CP guidlines. The videos are just there for other basic info. Such as where the cafe is, and where to stay. Otherwise your team leader will give you most of the training that you will need.

Yes, you have a very good chance of getting a job in rides. They can't have enough people in rides. Good Luck!

I know you are able sometimes to move to other rides during the season if things don't work out at the ride you are on. Sometimes you get switched to a ride whether you like or not also.

In 98, when i was there, my contract originally was slated for The Mine Ride. When I went to process in, Woz switched me to PT cuz they needed a guy there instead. I was so psyched when he told me that, cuz i saw PT for the first time that day, and wanted to work on it so bad, and i got my wish without even having to say a word. Sometimes ride changes work in mysterious ways. I couldn't have imagined myself working with any other crew on any other ride that year.
