Ride Host question?

Hi there! I was hired yesterday for the ride host postition for SkyHawk I believe. (That's what it said on my job offer accepting page, is this a for sure thing if that's what it says?) I was just wondering what it's like to work Sky Hawk and what exactly my job duties would include. I'm really excited to be working for Cedar Point this summer and would like to hear about any expierences you guys have, along with make some friends!

Welcome to CP! You're gonna have a great summer...so many people to make friends with and even though you work a lot you have so much fun the time just flies by. I can't say for SkyHawk specifically but generally you're checking seats, making sure guests are safe/secured in their seats, watching the ride area, learning the controls of the ride, making sure guests are the right height/will fit in the seats and a whole bunch of other stuff. You'll be trained on everything the first day so you don't have to worry about that.
Get ready for the best summer of your life!!!!

Awesome I'm a first year hire too for area 3 at Snake River Falls! We will meet loads of people! I know for rides, you will work all positions through 30-45 minute cycles: load, unload, front entrance, controls, measuring the youngins, clean-up, and speiling (saying ride rules and hyping guest up before and after the ride). Basically, any thing related to safety and giving guest a great day full of energy. I think that pretty much sums up your average day of work. I can't wait it's gonna be great!!!
