Rehires

Hi everyone,
I just have a quick question regarding rehires. I was wondering have any rehires been hired yet?

It depends on your rehire status. Mine is conditional that means I have less of a chance at being rehired then new people or returning people who have a green light rehire. I am currently waiting on my manager to get back to me on weather or not he feels I deserve a second chance since I did not complete my contract. There are a few other green light returning employees who have not been contacted yet either. I hear new people are recieving emails before good or not so good returning employees I am not sure why. I would say contact your manager if you want to get the ball rolling season starts 1/17/14

Okay thanks! I saw that Debra reviewed it two days ago, she just hasn't got back to me so I was worried a bit. Lol

Yeah its taking longer then when we were new lol Last season I put my app in saturday and got a call tuesday I was so excited and had alot of fun until august which is why I am a conditional rehire but atleadt my manager is giving me a considering giving me a second chance.

It's still extremely early in the game, so don't worry just yet. Not many people have actually gotten calls so far. The managers have a lot of things going on right now.

I think people are just concerned because the season starts 2/17/14 I am sure most want to start On that date the sonner you start the more money you can save.

I mean, that's only for a very small amount of people.

Which departments start 2/17/14 I was there last season but I applied in march so I have know idea which departments start 2/17/14 it seems like it would be park services and park operations only because there are alot of things to set up and clean before the park opens in May. Of course im just guessing I am not sure.

I would guess that it would only be anything affiliated with Castaway Bay. I don't think clean up starts until March/April.

I am back in Live Entertainment this year and I'm starting March 3rd. Honestly, working in the park before any guests arrive is a lot of fun. I really enjoy being there where it's just a few groups of workers in the park.

How did you know you were conditional

This will actually be my 10th, and a lot of the times they will tell you if you are a conditional rehire.

Yes my Manager told me that I am Conditional which means any other manager must look into my application references and past and current employment more in depth and also contact my old manager. So I feel I would benifit more from being considered for my same spot I was in last season then trying to apply for a new one although I may call Hr and have them put Castaway Bay down as one of my choices anyway. Never know may get lucky.
