Red Garter Saloon Girls

I just got hired as a red garter saloon girl for this season :). Are there any girls that have worked there before and can tell me more about it? What is the uniform like and what are the tips like? I'm exciteddddd!

hello karlene and nat. I will be working at the garter as well. as a saloon attendant as well.. working for Jennie will be a great time shes a nice and wonderful person to know and work for. One of the best in the park .

Hey! I'm your head supervisor at the best place to work at the whole park! =) this is my 4th year at RGS. Tips rock! You will make like 1000 a week once the summer kicks off. When is your start date?

If you're working there through halloweekends you should have some fun times, the monsters are very nice to and love the garter girls haha fun times.

hahaha hallow weekends are a blast!!! This summer is gonna be AWESOME!! I have great feeling about it =)

So Jake how is working at RGS from the male perspective? I'm processing in on May 14th to be a bartender.

Here are a couple of tips for the new 'saloon girls' (and guys).

1. You will make a LOT more tips if you wait the tables as soon as possible, since people want a chance to eat & drink BEFORE the show starts, and hate to wait until the show is finished to pay.

2. Don't pass by tables (in your section) without asking the occupants if they want anything. Especially true if that table hasn't been greeted by you yet.

3. Make eye contact with those sitting in your section as you walk by, nothing is more frustrating than being "invisible" when you want to place an order.

4. Get to know the 40-something guy sitting at a front table with his teenage daughter, whooping it up for the show. We don't bite ;-)

5. Smile and have a great time! You will work hard, play hard, and look back fondly your whole life at this experience.

The tips are good if you are flexible
