Red and White Track attached together (confirmed).

Well, the seperate track theory (one red, one white) is pretty much dissolved with this pic.

I have a couple matching this, but this is a higher resolution. I was at the park yesterday, and yes.. The Red and White Track are attached together.

Edit: Fixed link for pic

Any thoughts?

Perhaps the white track is for some sort of finish line if the ride is going to be themed to drag racing like Xcelerator.

This is being confirmed to kill the 2 seperate coasters, one white one red.....

Actually it's an optical illusion. I have a pic from Saturday that shows they aren't. The angle is deceiving that's all.

I don't know if you're correct or not James K., but to me, those don't look connected. Sky kicker, is there anyway you could post the pic?

Wise men say, a world without coasters is monotony.

If they are not connected then why are they both sitting with the one end pointing up. If they were separate then each piece would have both ends in the air.
Plenty of people have seen the 2 pieces connected together in person this weekend. There isn't some massive hoax. I for one saw these 2 pieces of track connected together when I was there today. And I did see it connected while I walked up to it and passing it, unless they were moving at my rate of speed to create something I didn't see. Many others will continue to confirm they are connected. This is hilarious and pathetic. There's no optical illusion

I was there yesterday too, and they were connected from all angles that I saw as well. :)
They are connected. I bet they will be hung this week. The white piece has the part to connect to the tower. It would be too hard to try to hang them once the structure is up. It would be easier to attatch them, then build the structure around them. That's my guess.

From what I saw at many angles they are connected.

The pic may make them look not connected because there is another piece of white track directly behind the first one.

There's a difference between connected and just sitting end-to-end. The thing I didn't look for when I was there on Saturday was the bolts that connect them. My guess is that they are in fact connected and ready to be attached to the structure. I think that we'll see white track on the tower only and red everywhere else.

It looked to me as the two were connected but we will find out indefinatley soon enough.

You realize that your use of the word "indefinatley" is entirely incorrect?

Maybe the highest track will be white, so they can light it like Millennium Force, or Power Tower....
What does the color of the track have to do with lighting?

The lighter the color, the easier it is to light. If MF's supports were say, red, you couldn't "light" them red, white, and blue, and get the same effect. Same thing with Power Tower. The white/gray look to the supports allows manipulation of those colors at night, whereas darker colors such as red or blue or even black woudln't reflect lights with such brilliance. Dark colors "absorb" light, and lighter colors "repel" it.
