really could use someone's help!

Hi everyone! I was wondering if there were any employees on this forum that could help me out with something! I am in a communications class in college and I have to do an informative speech. I decided to do mine on rollarcoasters and amusement parks. Well I need an attention grabber and I thought it would be perfect if I could do one of the opening sayings you employees do when everyone gets on one of the coasters! I can't remember what all is said in one of them though, so I was hoping someone could help me out and post what the saying is. I know they are specific to each coaster, but at this point I'm not going to be picky on which one. I know they tell the riders all about what they will be experiencing on the ride and the employees are always really enthusiastic! Does anyone know one? It would be extremely helpful!

I'm sure if you pick a ride any one of us ride hosts could do it. Pretty much everyone of us knows the spiel for every other coaster in the park.

Cant remember 100%, a lot of people played with the spiels.

"Oncoming riders, welcome to Millennium Force. Once the train has come to a complete stop, and the silver gates have opened, step onto the train. Take a seat, fasten your seat belts first, lapbars are second..... Millennium force will be taking you guys up 310 feet, and dropping you 300 feet over an 80 degree angle, reaching a top speed of 93 miles per hour! 3 122 degree overbanking turns, 2 dark tunnels, one bunny hill, all on 6595 feet of blue, steel, tubular track. So sit up right, hold on tight and enjoy your record breaking ride on Millennium Force."

its something a long the lines of that. you could also mention something about how millennium force is the number one steel roller coaster in the world right now or how when it opened in 2000 i broke 10 world records. :-)
hope i helped

Oh my goodness! Thank you soo much! Umm...I guess I would choose the maverick or the millenium force. Any one of the really popular rollarcoasters would be fine. Thanks again!

That was exactly what I was looking for!! Thank you for helping me out!!! :) If anyone else knows one of the spiels that they would like to share as well feel free! I will take a look and practice at whatever ones are thrown out!

"Oncoming riders welcome to Raptor! We're going to take you up 137 feet drop you 119 at a 45 degree angle. You will reach a top speed of 57 Miles per hour. We will then turn you upside down six times four different ways. When the train comes to a complete stop the gates will open. Please move quickly and carefully to your seat making sure to put all lose articles in bin #1. All lose articles must go in this bin, this includes: hats, flip flops, cameras, cell phones, and sunglasses. Cedar Point is not and will not be responsible for anything lost or damaged will riding the ride. Thank you for riding Raptor and enjoy the rest of your day here at Cedar Point, America's Rocking Roller Coast"

Well you could use the generic spiels or a cool one :D

Oncoming riders, welcome to Corkscrew. When the gates open please step two by two quickly and carefully. If you have any loose articles such as backpacks, cell phones or cameras place them in the X bin. Please remember Cedar Point is not and will not be held responsible for lost or damaged articles. Have a seat, pull down the shoulder harness and buckle the seatbelt between your legs. A ride host will be by momentarily to check your work. Corkscrew's going to launch you out of the station at 2 miles an hour, take a right turn and then climb way up high in the sky. A whopping 85 feet... trust me it's higher than a kite! Then it's all going to come plummeting back to the earth at 48 mph, 49 if you're lucky! For those of you that like a little rush of blood to the head, you'll get 3... with one 360-degree loop and two corkscrews over the midway! Thanks for riding Corkscrew and enjoy the rest of your day at CP, America's rockin' roller coast

Credit also goes to my ATL & fellow ride hosts for establishing out fun spiel :D

All of this in a quick manner with breathing involved somewhere in there :D

thank you!! these are so fun! I'm gonna have to invest in getting a job here one summer :D

Oncoming riders, welcome to Maverick. When the gates open please step through the train and place all loose articles, including cell phones, purses, cameras, and sunglasses into the bins to your right. Once you've done that take a seat, pull down on your harnesses, and buckle your seat belt, a ride host will be around shortly to assist you. Maverick will be taking you up 105 feet and dropping you 100 at a 95 degree angle, making us the steepest ride in the park. We're gonna twist you, turn you, flip you upside down twice and launch you out of a tunnel at 70 miles per hour. Sit up right, hold on tight, and enjoy your ride on Maverick, the old west was never this wild!

Oncoming riders, welcome to Mantis! When the gates open please step through the train and put all of your loose articles into the open bin, and into the open bin only. Shoes are not considered a loose article and must be worn to ride Mantis. Once you're on the train, stand up straight with both feet flat on the floor and behind the black line. Please do not sit, slouch or bounce because your seats will be locking on my count of 3, 2, 1. Your seats are now locked. If you find yourself sitting down, or you can't quite reach the ground, raise your hand and a ride host will be around momentarily to assist you.

Mantis will be blasting you out of the station at a mind-blowing 7 miles per hour and then take you up, up, up 145 feet into the crystal clear Ohio sky just to drop you back down 137 feet at a 45 degree angle. She will then twist you, flip you, turn you upside down four times, four fantastic different ways all while standing on your own two feet. So stand up right, hold on tight and enjoy your 3,900 feet of twisted tubular red and yellow track because you are ALL CLEAR and out of here.

Oncoming riders, welcome to Top Thrill Dragster! Please take this time to secure any and all loose articles as Cedar Point is not responsible for anything lost, stolen, or damaged while riding.Glasses must have a tight fitting athletic strap or they must be placed into a cargo pocket. Hats must be taken off and placed down the front of your shirt. When the trains come to a complete stop the gates will then open. Please take your seat quickly but carefully. Once seated please fasten your black safety belt but do not pull down on your yellow lap bar, a ride host will be around momentarily to place it down for you. While riding please remain seated upright with head, back, and shoulders against the seatback facing forward with your arms and legs inside the train at all times.Hold onto the grab bar until the ride comes to a complete and final stop.

Top Thrill Dragster is the worlds first and best stratacoaster! You will be launched at a top speed of 120mph in 3.8 seconds! You will then climb 420feet and come back down thru a 270 degree spiral cross the finish line reaching another 120mph! You will go thru 2,700 feet of track all in 16.8 seconds! So sit back hold on tight and enjoy your race for the sky on Top Thrill Dragster!
