When did you first realize that you loved Cedar Point and wanted to keep coming and coming?
For me was back in August 2004. My friend was telling me all about his trip to CP and I knew myself that I haven't gone in about 8 years. I asked my mom to see if we could go before school starts and we did. It was a perfect day and my first ever rollercoaster was Raptor.

Maverick perhaps? I wanna RIDE ON.
It was either late May or early June of 2004. Was my first trip ever to Cedar Point, and I've loved the place ever since. I'd rode some other rollercoasters before (Big Dipper at Camden Park as a youngster, Adventure Express at PKI (sadly all I was tall enough to ride there), Corkscrew at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion (first inversion ever, thanks to my dad talking me into it), then the Tennessee Tornado at Dollywood), but all those were dwarfed by a lot of the rides before me. First ride at Cedar Point: Millennium Force. Was a great trip, and I've been back twice this year so far (didn't get to go any in 2005 :( )

Early June 2004, before the 10th. One of the last couple weekends before summer vacation!! Of course I didn't get back til 6.6.06... Ah well, three times this year! Yay! That and a bunch of awesome rides on the big coasters. I never really once have said no to a ride, and all but MS I have come out thrilled from the experience!!

Well... I first started going once or twice a year in 1986, and I was so scared of coasters, but my neighbor's were still nice enough to take me with them and their kids every year.
I wouldn't get on many coasters. I started out with Mine Ride, Avalanche Run, and Blue Streak every now and then, and I'd always have to hit up the Mill Race.
This continued for a few years till my neighbor told me he wasn't going to take me anymore if I didn't start riding all the coasters.
So here we are. It was an early morning in mid summer of 1989. We get in the park and they take me to ride Gemini, and Iron Dragon, and the usuals that I have ridden before... and that was all they were really making me ride.
We then come up to the brand new, massive Magnum that none of us even knew about... and none of them would ride it... and I wasn't going to argue. This thing looked huge to me, as I'm sure it did to everyone else.
They try to bribe me to go ride it by myslef for $5.00.
I was scared out of my mind, but i was 10 years old at the time, and $5.00 sounded pretty good to me. So I go stand in the massive line by myself. I get up to the loading platform and my knees are shaking, my hands are sweating, and I would have bet my $5 that I was going to pee my pants.
Click, Click, Click... my ass goes up this massive hill for what seemed to be an hour, we crest the hill and I white knuckle the bar in front of me... down the first drop I go, and by the time I got to the top of the 3rd hill on the Magnum, my love for Cedar Point and Rollercoasters had begun!

I've loved the park since I first went there at a very young age... but it wasn't until around 2000 that I became "hooked."

In the late seventies, with the installations of Gemini and Corkscrew. Although up intil about 1987 or so, I was more of a Kings Island person...until Cedar Point started pulling ahead in the coaster wars and KI began destroying much of what I loved about the place. :(

When I first heard about the construction of Millennium Force. I was amazed by everything about MF, the numbers, the design, the records. It was then when my love for Cedar Point and roller coasters in general blossomed.
