Re-Hire!

Well, 3 weeks into last season I quit, never processed out. Serious family issues came into the picture, and want to work at CP again.... any high chances of re-hire?

That put you on the no-rehire list. You simply can't be hired for 2004. Down the road you might be able to be hired again, but will likely need to have a good explination for leaving.

Marco signed up on March 14th. He probably doesn't realize that his type of "conversation" (ie harassment and general rudeness) isn't welcome here.

OhioGurl, you'll probably just have to wait and see what happens. When you quit, did you discuss the reasons you needed to leave with your manager, or did you just leave without really telling anyone anything? The amount of information you provided to back up your need to leave your job at the Point (for example, written documentation) may have some weight in whether or not you are eligible again. You may wish to call your old manager and discuss the fact that you are reapplying, especially if you are hoping to work for him or her again.

I had family issue's last year also. My father had surgery and was then sick, I processed out and let my sup know everything that was goin on. Then when I decided to apply this year emailed my silver and let her know and I was able to be rehired as conditional. so talk to your sup....

Yea Marguerite, but you were there for the entire season! You didn't even leave until after I did, and I was there until the last week in August.

Good luck... as a conditional (based on the description you gave as to how you left last season) your former department needs to lift it and generally, another department won't want to hire someone who already has a bad work history with the company.

If you get hired, I'd bet it would be in accomodations. I'd almost bet the farm you won't get into rides with a conditional for leaving 3 weeks into work last season.
