Sporting one of my Talon shirts (but had on my Raptor necklace!) I head to the Po!nt at 6am, noticing how beautiful a day it appeared it was going to be. For the 1st time since May CP trips the school buses and school zones once more. Stopped at Hardees and tried one of their "frisco breakfast sandwiches"-YUMMY! It was SOO good! Arrived at CP at 9:15, after dropping lunch in picnic area (yea I know Tony-no pic-a-nic basket, just a plain cooler ;)) headed for my green baby. After managing 5 rides in the 1st 30 minutes I assumed this whole adventure was going to be a cake walk for me. Then at 10am things changed. Tons of people showed up (I was thinking "hey-arent you supposed to be back at school??") I did notice there were no kids like my youngest ages, more college kids or older high school kids. Tons of CP "think they know it alls" who were bugging the **** out of me all day with some of their comments, I, of course bit my lip and didn't say a word. It was after all, my bonding day with Raptor. The more I was riding the more the crew (the ones who spoke english anyway) started noticing me and started talking to me. THAT turned out to be one of the greatest things for me all day. It wasn't long before I ended up hooking up with fellow GTTP'er (RC Red) and GOCC'er, Flora. She too decided to solo CP and she rode with me at least 10x (rerides? What rerides? ;)) Funny thing happened on one of our rides I accidentially touched one of the lights on the runway and OUCH! I guess thats what I get!! For lap 24 and lifetime 600th flight we waited on the front car, and the ride op said when we got back to the station "how was your 600th ride Jo?"
TOO cool! Flora and I did one more lap, she headed home and I headed for lunch. See you at Holiday World Flora! :)Eating is something I have to force myself to do at CP since I would much rather ride. I managed to eat, drink 2 Dews, share most of my munchies with the sparrows and seagulls, and back to Raptor in 30 minutes. Called work to give them tally thus far, 3pm-25 flights. Told them crowd off and on, lots of puke clean up breaks. My sight was set on now breaking my 40 laps in 1 day. Now is where the fun really began with the crew. When I got back to the platform 2 of them asked me where I had been--sorry-I had to eat something!! By lap 50 they all knew me by name, 2 of them even had asked me earlier if I was Raptor Jo! Let me just say that I can NOT wait to work with this crew they are AWESOME and SOOO funny!! They are even siked about working with me!!
Ooops.....did I say work with the crew? ;)
What am I talking about? ;)
The lines would go from walk on to 15 minutes to even 30 minutes off and on. I then hooked up with another GTTP'er Pete for a lap and by lap 57 Tony showed up. The remaining flights were such a good time with Tony!! I also saw GTTPs'er CPDave, Tyler, as well as 2 other people who reconized me from Discovery. My final flights goal, try to get Tony to puke, and try to get Tony to touch the lights on the runway. I did not succeed in either :) I also po!nted out the famous Raptor crack to him. Tony even SKIPPED riding his baby MF just to ride with me, is THAT a sign of a true friend or what? :) 8pm came far too quickly for me.Tony and I got to see Joe E briefly (Joe E at CP? Gasp what a shocker there ;)) Through out the day I was DIEING to ride something else but stuck it out anyway. Only left Raptor to get some water, eat lunch, call work and of course potty breaks. It was really ALOT of fun, thanks mostly to Flora, Tony and of course the Raptor crew :)
Total Raptor flights for Raptor Jo? :) 64 :)
Funniest line all day: a Dad was next to me in line and asked "I saw you riding earlier writing down your rides didn't I?" I said "yes, this is my 45th" he said, "yes this is our 4th or 5th also" I said "no, I said this is my 45th ride" and showed him my tally sheet, his expression was priceless and his son about fell over! :)
Quite surprisingly the only thing sore on me today is my lower back, my legs feel great. Would I do it again?
In a heartbeat!!!
Thanks for a great time Flora and Tony! You guys rock!

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and still looking pretty. What's so hard about that? :)
However, I did not know it was you until after I got home and was here on GTTP.
I only got in 3 laps on Raptor that day. I rode almost every other coaster though.
