Raptor Crack?

Probably every steel coaster at CP (and anywhere else for that matter) has cracked in one or more places. Mantis, Raptor, Magnum, and Corkscrew are are the ones I know for sure. In most cases, the crack is welded back together. In this case, it sounds like that weld might not be perfectly smooth.

Raptor was SBNO again today,as with everything else in the park. There was a slight breeze off the bay, nothing too big It felt but I guess enough to shut it down. One thing they need is a "ride closed due to wind" sign. I saw people standing on the midway under sunny skies looking at the weather conditions sign going "@#$#!#!$crap"

I'm glad we got the expert opinion from Hooper. ;) He's right to about them hitting intervals, usually it's not until June until they start doing that.

Yeah, It's really no big deal. I'm sure they look at that spot everyday first thing and know all about it. I just found it to be kind of odd. Forget I said anything. Sorry! :)

Do you think the Raptor will be up on Monday? The weather is looking okay, just a little cloudy and cold...really no big winds. I'm just worried I'll go and it will be shut down, along with Maintence Force, for no good reason.... :( :(
