I've been told Raptor but who knows in the world of CP, they could make changes, never know
So who is in this prestigious sector?
Hey Now... Don't scare my crew members before the season even starts! I like the way my crew is shaping up!
Cedar Point Lifer, RideOp, Now Park Guest
2008 - Mantis/MF/Skyride
2009 - ATL Raptor
2010 - TL Sweeps
2011 & 2012 - Area 3 Rides Supervisor
You guys just need to remember that there is only one ride in the park where you fly, and it is not Raptor. :)
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Have fun with the dirty bird, get ready to lose a ton of weight, i lost 30 lbs alone last year working that bird!

ahahah the funny part is, that's why i'm happy if that is chosen as my spot.
Outdoors + lots of action makes me extremely happy. Besides, i can't think of a any better job than a coaster.
not to mention the fastest loading coaster for that capacity in the park. dispatch interval of 45 seconds

notice how hes "capacity" no other coaster with a 32 guest capacity loads that fast. read the whole post and dont talk out of your butt.
oh fun times watching the raptor crew working while i got to spend my days in a nice cold restraunt while yall are in the heat have fun agian this year i will be on the raptor every time i get a chance agian this year
Raptor's interval CAN be one of the two fastest in the park, but unfortunately that rarely happens. As far as the most strenuous ride in the park to work, Raptor clearly isn't the worst, although it is a fun one! Imagine bending down all down checking lapbars and seatbelts in not so pleasant areas to check seatbelts, and being forced to move fast because if you don't you have to run like a quarter mile to restart the ride.....that's strenuous.
The load/unload/ready interval for both rides (Raptor and Magnum) is roughly the same, 45 seconds, with Magnum's trains holding an additional 4 people per train...so i don't know...after working both, Magnum is more of a challenge!

G$ is a capacity whore my friends. Im pretty sure no other ride at cp can load that many guests at once. Besides CPLERR. As far as our intervals go... they can be fast!
2009 TL Gemini
2008 ATL Gemini
2007 ATL Witches' Wheel/Monster
Da BEARS!
Gemini is great when running both sides...but that is based on the fact that it is two coasters in one, and there are some days that only one side is run the whole day. Back before 2000-something, when there were no gate and that baby ran three trains on both sides the whole day...now that was a capacity king...

The Raptor interval is actually 37 (thanks to the floor), but hey, what coaster isn't fast? Or supposed to be at least. I know once we got hold of the new procedure last season we really kicked it into high gear, so hopefully you guys can have an entire season of that this year. Best of luck to you.
And as for you Mr. Zach, I think bending over and getting kicked in the shins all day pretty much equal out. And maybe this season they'll make me put my back pack in the bins when I ride. :) You know I loved the 3 days when we were even remotely close to your numbers.
This is true. I've not seen another Skycoaster load at the speed we do. And then there's the one in Kissimmee where we got to be our own expediters because nobody working there wanted to do it....
Anyhoo, back to your regularly scheduled Raptor discussion.
