Quitting Question

I found a job closer to home and I have already processed in but have not taken any classes yet. I callled to tell my department that I will not be working there this summer and she told me that I would have to process out with them and bring my name tag and parking sticker back. If I don't do this will they only put me on the no hire list?

Yea. It's one thing to leave for school but to process in and then leave before you do anything because of another job isn't cool. You'll probably be put on the no-rehire list.

before you do it. I would really think about which job you would make more, have a more enjoyable time. Which one could be better for your resume. Working at cedar point looks great on resumes. I Understand you have a job closer to home, but that is the point about when you apply to Cedar Point most people have the understanding they are away from home unless they live in Sandusky or Vermilion and commute. All that I'm saying is I feel like Cedar Point would be more wise to stick with. To bad you cannot give it a chance. This will be my first summer I am excited i turned down 2 jobs in my town to work here. But best of luck at your new job i hope it will be enjoyable.

you won't be put on the no-rehire list. my roommate form last year processed out the day after she processed in and didn't get put on it...though her's was for family reasons not another job
