Haha... anyways if you check out the new diary entry on the official site, it answers almost all the questions about the queue - sounds like it will start on the former aquarium site, then make it's way out onto the beach on the opposite side of WT and you will enter from that side and exit by the Giant Wheel.

So Matt2003,  what you are saying is that Full time Managers are not allowed on site,  but seasonal employees like us which are not technically employed Cedar Point until we process in, can go view the site?  I'm confused.  Maybe, Full-time (aka year round) managers can view the site and seasonal employees cannot....

Mr. Jasper's title isn't exaclty "manager" like Fike and Oz... It IS Vice President of Maintenance and Construction.

How odd then that two of the marketing folks, myself, and no fewer than a dozen members of this site (and another dozen non-members) were indeed there, walking around and even under the ride.

We even got to fondle the big pistons on the track ends. :)

I understand how you were able to be there, Jeff.  I'm assuming it was maybe a media event and for other similar people as being able to attend tours.  Also, maybe you were able to invite a few people along with you. I am probably totally wrong, let me know if I am.  Maybe it is Open to the GP, but something tells me they wouldn't let just any Joe in there... :)

Any Joe? I'll take the half hour car trip up and let you know. ;)

Matt i have one question for you...where did you get the information that full time managers are not allowed on the site?

I found out from my trip, The Lemon Chill guy says who is allowed on site.

In agreement with Gina, I know one full time manager and one regular employee who more than likely make a trip there everyday to empty the trash dumpsters. Construction does make a lot of trash.....

My manager, Jenn Andree, she did say even full-time managers were not allowed on site....

Jenn do you still read GTTP?  Maybe we all could use a little clarification? :)

I'm not saying anyone is making anything up.  I'm not saying you were not out there, Jeff.  I beleive you were there.  I never once didn't beleive you were not.  All I'm simply stating is that, my manager from this past summer and one of the crewmen empty the trash throughout the park, including the dumpsters at the WT site.  Mr. Huff asked if anyone wanted to stay through the winter to help with trash we were more than welcome to ask.  He couldn't guarentee we could, since he could only have one person...  Therefore I know at least one area manager, and Crewman who is allowed access.  I was just trying to be as polite about it.

I am sure there is some truth to what matt has to say. i would imagine full time managers in other departments besides ride operations are not allowed on the site...is that what you meant matt?
