Queue Query

AKA "q2"

Anyway... looking at the scan from the "Extremely blown up Picture of WT" thread... I noticed what I assume to be the queue entrance near the left, jutting out from the bushes almost like PT's queue entrance.

Now, here's the question... (Jeff, perhaps you might be able to shed some light on this one... maybe) Is that the definate location of the queue? Are even those details that planned in advance?

If it is, it will be one exciting wait, because those queue rails look as if they wind under, or very close to under, the back spike where the train will be flying overhead... on the flip side of that coin, it's going to be one hot wait in the summer out on the beach like that ... :(

I'm guessing that details like that are planned out. The location of Wicked Twister didn't really require the Aquarium building to be Razed that I can see. If the building stayed my guess is the queue would start somewhere by GW and wrap around to the back or maybe behind DT.

I don't care... I don't mind waiting in line,as long as its not with my stupid cousin who in line for Stealth and Invertigo kept on saying:

"It's been 5minutes and we've only taken 2 steps up the stairs!!"

What do you expect for the first ride after the fireworks on a crowded 4th of July weekend? I like watching the ride go, and watching the people. All I know is that i'll have a lot of time to watch the ride and the people.

All of you that work there... can you please take over the team for this ride next year and just forget about the stupid line? The minute the people exit the train, open the air gates please! This will help us who have inpatient cousins...

I thought Sandusky zoning was such that you had to file permits for foundation work, but I don't know about the rest. I doubt the rest is left to chance or done later, because as anyone in construction will tell you, everything effects everything else when it comes to water retention. Build something the wrong way or neglect to put in drains or drain tile in the right place and you've got puddles everywhere (see: Batman at SFGAdv).

It makes sense to load on the beach side. That leaves the midway side more open for non-riders to see.

Well since the only thing we have to go by is the artist's rendering (which is not accurate at all) we have no clue!

I'd guess that the queues will be in the area of the former aquarium, sort of around the backwards spike. The line will then go around to the beach side, up a set of stairs to the loading platform. Just a guess though...

My guess is that the mega-queue will be on the old Aquarium site, so the entrance will somewhere around there. I agree with Jeff that loading will probably be on the lake side.

Well, I answered this in another topic, but there will be three queue blocks on the former aquarium site and a path that leads around the rear tower and up a ramp to the platform.

I'm guessing you'll walk down a ramp to the Same area where you exit the Giant wheel, if not down a ramp, then exit lake side and walk under the station.
