Queue line

Don't forget "hot water heater", "FBI Inspector", "NASA Administration", "Caller ID Identification", and so, so many more.

In the case of the FBI it works:
Federal Bureau of Investigation Inspector

Never have I heard the Caller ID or NASA one.
And you can heat hot water. It just gets hotter.

:D

They should have the queue all the way down the brake track and back it would be nice back by all those trees on a hot day.
Sorry Rider, I meant FBI investigation.

Anyway, I think it would be cool to put really big trees in the middle of the oval and have the queue go through what looks like and would be a forest. Then that'll make up for all those missing trees.

The queue lines/entrance will most likely start across from Super Himalaya and Power Tower (down by the Iron Dragon's "fog") BEHIND the old black fence where they just drained the lagoon next to Iron Dragon; it will then continue to stretch down on the non-midway side along PWE's lagoon shoreline. If you looked really closely you could kind of spot this at the end of last season. There, hope that helps...
New question: Which entrance would be best to enter the park to get to the queue the quickest on opening day? The one by Millie or Maggie?
I didn't know there was an entrance by Millie.
Well, it's close to Millie. I'm looking at the map right now and it's right next to the Ice Skating Rink and Dodgem. It leads you straight to the end of the Main Midway.

If the queue entrance is close to the Iron Dragon pretzel as said earlier, than the entrance near Millennium Force would be closest. However, if the entrance is lear where Chaos/Troika used to be (near the tower), then the Magnum Entrance would be better.

Anyone else have any ideas?

You have plenty of time to decide what entrance to use.

2003 - Ride Operations

Well, that layout drawing of TTD shows the queue line within the ride next to the brakes. The exit is also along the station and down by the turnaround. But to get into the queue, you'd have to cross the track. Anyone know where?

looking at the picture it looks to be about by where the line started for trokia....by the lockers to the ride or where chaos was where that open land was before leading to the river by the guessing game if you dont know where im talking about then where you see the locker's move up and the little path that is going under the track

i would rather be on a ride than on my desk in school *cries* sledding is the only thing that is close

If you look at the artist's rendering of the layout, it appears that the queue will stretch along the brake side. There seems to be an awful lot of trees between the queue and the launch run. That doesn't look too good for watching the launch while in line. I know a lot of people have hoped for the trees to be replaced, but I hope they don't do it in a way that sacrifices the view.

After you've seen it a few times, does it matter? If you're in line for two hours you'll see 180 launches. Whoopee! I say bring back the trees. Standing in the hot sun sucks, even if you have the canopies.

DELETED!

180 launches in 2 hours? I hadn't really calculated it. Man, that comes to around 720 launches per day (10-10 operation). 120 launches per train per day.

Wow.

That could be another reason why they have six trains. Wheel maintenance alone would have caused them to have to switch out some wheels fairly often.

That's a lot of launches!

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of # 16, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

I also hope they add trees, LOTS of them, and larger ones than they added in the Raptor queue line. I remember standing in line in mid day and nearly passing out from the hot sun beating down. Hopefully it won't be all cement in the center.
