Queue line

I was lookin at the webcams and stuff and got to thinking, "Where is the line gonna be?" It was mentioned that the track isn't high enough to walk under somewhere here, if I find the post i'll put a link (here). So if anyone knows or has any ideas about where they're gonna put the line for #16, post here. Thanks!

UMMM, Is there a law that you have to only walk UNDER the coaster. Its called going over it. Pretty easy. I dont see a poinst in starting a big discussion. The circuit hasnt even been built. Dont even get me started on the station. Wherever they put it, it will most likely go over the track.

I would think it would be a safely hazard to put a walkway over the track. Think if someone accidentally dropped something while the ride was being launched. Even something the size of a penny could do some serious damage at 110-120 MPH. In response to this you might say," Someone could throw something from under the track, so what's it matter?" It would be alot more obvious, if someone did that instead of just dropping something off a walkway.

First of all, no one said anyone about the line going over the track when the train is going that fast. It could be over the beginning of the launch, where it's not going as fast but that could still be dangerous, so maybe they could put a big wall there. Or hell, it could over the station.

On the other hand, since I think it's pretty obvious that the station is on the midway side, they could just have the entrance and exit on the same side (like on Millie) so you don't need to walk under the track at all.

Has any one ever been on DT? I think they should build one of these type of Queue lines for this ride. Air conditioned, dimly lit, some cool music, and some visual scenes to pump you up for the ride. You know, something to keep you busy while you're waiting. This will make the wait seem shorter. I hate waiting for 2+ hours with nothing to do but wait. I think this is actually one of my favorite parts of DT. Yes, I ride it. My kids love it, so I have to. They are still a little young, so rides like that are cool for them. I, also get to spend quite a bit of time in Camp Snoopy, Kiddie Land, and Fronteer Trail. The first couple of times, it was a drag. Then, I realized how cool it was to watch all those kids having the time of their lives. Not much beats that, for me.

Um, if you look at the webcams, you can see that the stations will most likely both be on the non-midway side of the ride.

I'm thinking the queue enterance will be down closer to Magnum where there is clearance to go under, and the exit will probably go around the load station and next to the turnaround outside of the oval. Just a guess.

"Queue line..." brought to you by "PIN number," "ATM machine," "added bonus," "CD disc."

DELETED!

And lets not forget about "LIM motor"

Anyways they could put a crap catcher under the path above the station so nothing could fall all the way to the track.

They could always put the Q over the turn at the end. The train would be moving slow, and so on...

Never, in my life, have I ever heard anyone say "CD disc"

Don't forget "hot water heater", "FBI Inspector", "NASA Administration", "Caller ID Identification", and so, so many more.
like ralph said i think it will be by magnum going underneath the big ol yehellow tower and weaving through the middles of the ride and the exit going out in the same place so you are in the middle of the biggest ride in the world and you can watch it from any part of the line that would be the best think for them to do i think

I like that idea. Then we could take pictures of it and it would look HUGE(!!!!) Then again, it is huge!
The ride entrance make sense to come in down by Magnum and queue through the interior of the circuit. But why make the exit travel the same route? Take the exit directly off the station, out to the midway across from Corkscrew.

My chips are down that the entrance is going to be near Power Tower. Having the entrance/exit so close to the already too narrow Magnum midway would be stupid. Cedar Point often does things that don't make sense, but rarely does Cedar Point do stupid things.

Near Power Tower? You mean near the already too narrow bottleneck area from Coasters restaurant to #16?

Im pretty sure that it will be somewhere between Power Tower plaza and the Magnum Midway. I think that sums it up right there;)

You know where they drained the lagoon? That's probably where it will be. There would have been no reason to drain the water that far up if the only use it was going to have was getting equipment in and out. There is quite a bit of land between the dam and the turnaround of #16.

That's probably the most likely place the queue would be. Another possible place for the queue is to have the beginning of the queue partially down the launch track where the track is high enough to let people walk under the track.

So either by PT or between Corkscrew and Magnum.

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of # 16, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

I say the queue will be where ever they want to place the queue.

Someone help me i'm in denial about Project 2003.

Maybe it will be an entirely new walkway between the ID line and Coasters directly to the ride, to avoid the bottleneck by PT.
