Questions about summer..

I've got two quick questions..how do I choose where I want to work on my application?Specifically, I want to work at Coasters, but how do I indicate this? Or do I just wait for CP to call me and then talk to them about it over the phone? (putting down food service on my application) Also, I wouldn't be able to start working until June because I go to Ohio State...will they hire me that late in the season? Sorry there's so many questions..thanks for your guys help.

Yes, they will hire you at any point during the season. You would put food host as your job code, then by the number put coasters. When they call you, you would remind them then as well.

We had an Ohio State Student working at Coasters last year so I am sure it is possible. Make sure that you put on there that you want to work at Coasters Diner so that Mike can get back to you once he gets your applicaion. In that case, I will be seeing you this summer along with wagonboy, hoov42 and 32 oh and SkyrideChick...looking forward to having you in the family! :)

The more the merrier! Of course we like OSU people! heck my g/f is even one! I know a lot of people that go to OSU and work at CP, the benefit is that you can stay longer at the end of the season!

SteveB - You sent your app in right in the middle of the hiring frenzy so it might take awhile...especially depending on who ended up with your application. If you want you can call HR and talk to them to see if they can direct you to the right department to inquire. Call the
1-800-668-jobs number so you don't have to pay but make sure you call between 8 and 5. Otherwise I would just give it a while...they are busy sifting through many applications right now and I would assume (although I do not know this for sure) that they are most likely taking care of the former employees first to get them in spots before they start placing all the first year people...that is just my thoughts though...call them if you like!
