Through Cedar Point's website, there are special online deals throughout the summer that you can participate in. For example, the "Christmas in July" special last summer was $29.99. If you happen to be a AAA member, you can also buy reduce rate tickets from AAA (I remember there was a special Ride and Refresh ticket through AAA - where you can get unlimited pop throughout the day). So if you happen to go to Cedar Point just a few days, there are ways to get a reduce rate ticket.
