When I go this year I'm going to spend the 1st day at Soak City (because I need a vacation so bad) and when 5:00pm rolls around if I can't stand looking at the coasters anymore I'll get a Starlight. 2 days is always better than 1 and the Ride and Slides are the best bang for your buck. You can take your time walking around and riding rides. I've never stayed anywhere but Breakers so I can't give an opinion on any place else, but if a companion wants to sit and rest or take a nap then they don't have to go very far to do it and they can have peace and quiet. Also, I grew up going to CP and the 1st time I went to another park all I could think was, "This is it?"
My exact feelings when I visited a few Six Flags and MiA. I mean, I had a good time, don't get me wrong, but I was a little disappointed(sp?!).
