Question for DJs

I currently work in challenge park, and when I come back next summer,I would like to be a DJ. Is there a special audition that I would need to go to? If so, is there alot of people that try out? I am going to college this year, and plan on being on the college radio station. This would give me some DJ experience.

Just don't try to do it for a living! I started down that road in radio. When I made it to the 22nd market in the country (Cleveland), I made a whopping $15K a year! Whoo-hoo! I was a celebrity that was too poor to move out of his parents' house.

Anyway, it's a live-E position, so I'm going to assume that you have to audition.

You're right, Jeff, you do have to audition, but I'm not sure what all is involved -- voice, technical knowledge, etc., but what else who knows? *Grin*
