My process in date is April 13. I thought I read somewhere that you can move in to your room 24 hours prior to your process in date. Is this true?
It has been that way in the past. But to be safe, just call HR to be sure. You don't want to get there to find out you can't do that anymore. Its better that way then getting a answer on here from someone who thinks you can do that.
No, I think it's that you can move into your room 24 hours before the day you are scheduled to actually start working, which is your processing-in day. They may make exceptions for special cases, like if someone can't help their arrival time and they get there after HR has closed for the day. But I would have loved it if we were able to move in before processing-in day, it would have been nice to have that extra time to get relax and get situated.

Ummm, it's answers such as that that tell you to call HR.
eat. sleep. ride! - Coaster apparel and accessories!
Ride on, MrScott!
I know that last year I moved into commons the day before I processed in. So unless they changed it you should be able to move in early...

Does CP give you the tour of the park the day you process in or another time? What is your first day of work like? how long does it take to get trained for a roller coaster? Do you get to operate the ride on your first day? These are all the questions I can think of now. Thanks.

Once you process in you will have the chance to schedule your 2nd part of Orientation Training (which includes the tour). Depending on when you actually process in your ride training might be different. If you start before the park opens, you will have an entire week cleaning and training at your ride location. Actually running the ride will depend on whether maint. has it ready to operate. Also, there can be no riders until the state inspects the ride and it recieves is seal to operate. You will learn every position, but will not operate controls until you pass the visual boards (test). If you start after the park opens you will come in prior to opening for training.
