Question about hiring

okay, so I looked at my application today and It hasn't change since the 24th when Debra Reinauer reviewed it. I called HR and they said that three people have reviewed it but they probably passed on it because of my end date. It was August, 13th but I changed it to the 20th. I also changed my second choice from Ride photo to Ride Host as well and Food host as my third choice. I also asked them to change my app to "some weekends". Will this increase my chance of getting hired?

Do they have a reason to not hire you? If they do, then you have a reason to be freaking out. If not, they DO have to get a clarification from your previous departments.

I was actually supposed to work there last summer but got a job at Kalahari instead. So no, I really don't think that there isn't a reason for them to not hire me. Also, I wasn't freaking out. I was just asking a question. But thanks for your reply. It helps.

What department did you work in/are you being interviewed for?

If you are a returner it is really easy. He asked me where I wanted to work and then just read the question we are supposed to answer yes/no to.

It's mostly the random stuff that they have to ask, like if you can stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds.

That list grows every year, I swear to god.

I mean, my end date is August 18th, and I put down some weekends and I still got rehired. Hmm.

I wouldn't worry to much, they have tons of apps to look over, it just takes time. However, being available for a long as possible does look better to the hiring managers. I work from beginning to end, and I mean to the end of Halloweekends, and beyond when possible. You see twards the end of August the staff of employees really thins out, and CP needs enough employees to maintain excellent guest service.

So I have a phone interview tomorrow and heard that some of them offer it to you right then. I was wondering if that does happen do I have to accept it right that? I am still waiting to hear on a education program so I just don't want to accept it and then have to turn down this other oppurtunity
