Question about employee housing

Well, I just got off the phone, it appears I have a job. The guy I talked to said I qualify for employee housing, how does it work. Do I need to make arangements now? I don't want to live in the dorms or on the point, so do I have to register or something? I'm supposed to process on April 28th, does that mean I won't be able to choose where I want to live? Any information is greatly appreciated.

When you process in you get assigned to housing....you will tell them where you want to stay then...you seem to be proccessing in early enough where you will get what you want...maybe im wrong though

Since you are processing in in April, there is a chance you could get into a Bayside apartment, if not, then more than likely you can get into a Commons Apt. You can't make any arrangements ahead of time, you have to stay wherever there is room left when you get there. But since the park won't even be open yet you should be able to get into one kind of apartment. The choice is yours as long as there is room.
There are the Bayside apartments which are alright, I guess. You have your own kitchen and bathroom, so there's no problem with community showers and what not. The only problem is, if you don't have a car, then you'll need the bus, which isn't what I'd call prime transportation. But its only 24 dollars a week! So it seems that Bayside would be your best option.

I have a car. I noticed it said I can bring my computer, thats sweet. What about a T.V. and dvd player, any chance I can get those in there?

Pat--its pretty much bring whatveer the hell you please, just watch out for those with the shifty eyes and the fast hands...stuff turns up missing too much at cp.

Nate

oh yeah, don't forget...no airconditioning at bayside
Which ones do have A.C.?
The Commons Apartments have A/C in the livingroom only, and the Commons Dorms have A/C in the dorm. I'm not sure but I think you can bring your own A/C into Bayside for an extra charge - maybe someone else knows about that.
Okay, so bayside or Commons apartments? I can't really decide between the two. Also, does anyone know how they choose who works the coasters? I talked to the ride recruiter today, he said he didn't know what ride I would be on, so do I just have to wait and see? Oh, and BTW, thanks for all the help here. My life seemed to hit rock bottom the last couple of days, this job is my getaway. Thanks
if you live in bayside, you can bring in your own A/C, and yes there is an extra charge...I'm gonna lie to you here, but I think its an extra $15 bucks a month. You can get away from the hookup charge if you don't have maintence put it in. SO if you can put it in, save the $
