Question about cafeteria

Hi, I'm an employee at another Cedar Fair park, and I am planning on using my ID to visit Cedar Point this summer. Because I work in food service, I understand how ridiculous amusement park food prices are, and I'm assuming that Cedar Point probably has some type of employee cafeteria, as my park does. I'm also guessing that I could probably use this cafeteria, as I am employed by Cedar Fair. However, I'm not sure what they would do if they saw my non Cedar Point ID, so I was wondering where your employee cafeteria is in the park, and if they ever check ID's there (because they NEVER do at my park. Pretty much anyone can use it. We don't even need our uniforms on). Are there any other tips you could give me for my first visit to CP? Sorry I'm being so anonymous, but they have threatened us at my park about using internet forums, and have warned that they have people searching the web for us (although I have no idea how they could ever catch anybody)

As far as I know, youre not allowed to use our cafe. I know some people were asking to use King Island's and they said no. You may want to ask your foods manager.

Cedar Point employees were allowed to use the Geauga Lake cafe and the same for GL employees visiting Cedar Point. I don't understand why it would be a problem. The Employee Cafe is right next door to the Food Services office, you could just stop in and ask to be sure.

Or you could just try it and see. Whats the worse that could happen? They tell you NO and explain to you the rule that I doubt is even a rule (considering I have never seen it printed anywhere in company policies).

Like they'd even bother to check you. I know people that ate there that didn't even work at CP anymore, or ANY CF park.

If you pay with cash it won't be a problem. The only time they ever asked for my ID was when I payed with a card. I had my friends come in and eat there a few times.

I plead the fifth on this one....I haven't worked at the park since 2002, and let's just say I've eaten cheap at the park the last few times I've gone.

Trust me the food at Kings Islands cafe isn't that great. They kept raising the price the years I was there.
