question about age restrictions

I have a couple questions that i'm sure one of you on here can answer for me. I graduated from high school and I am 17, and since I am graduated that means I am going to be a red tag. Now does that mean that I am going to be able to do the things that 18 year olds and up are allowed to do, or am I just going to be a red tag so i can live in housing. Then if I am going to be able to do the things that red tags can do does that mean that I can actually run a ride? Or is there like a liablity issue there? If i am allowed to run a ride how easy is it to transfer departments because i am to be working in foods. Thanks alot for all the help.

17 but graduated lets you live in housing, but does not let you work any rides (Except the train)

That's the platform, not engine crew.
