Question about after filling out an application

I filled out an application over 2 weeks ago. I keep checking on Jobnet every day to see if nething is update but it says nothing about anyone looking at my application. my sister also applied that same day, her page is updated and she had an interview and was hired. i was just wondering if they plan on not hiring you do they let you know or what. cause it has been two weeks and i have heard nothing and i would just like to be able to find another job for summer if i dont get this one.

After 2 weeks I called and asked the status of my app. and then they scheduled an interview right there and now I am hired.

what was the number you called. i am going to email the person on the job faq's page but i think calling would be much better
