Hi Matt
When I worked in '00 I only worked during Halloweekends and got to stay in the dorm (wow-some of the memories-or non memories! ;)) Anyway so unless you live less than 80 miles (I THINK thats the max but I'm not sure) I know I go thru Marion on my way to the Po!nt, and know it's still a good 1.25 from there so I'm guessing you'll be ok.
Have fun!
Working at CP is one of my greatest memories ever!

If ur 25 miles away from Cedar Point then u can get housing.

It also depends on when you can start your weekends.  you basically get placed, but with your choice.  Some buildings open up before others.  I think the only place you can live in April is Bayside Appartments.  However, you can always move when they open up the other buildings.

Back to the original question...  Yes, the radius for being qualified for Cedar Point housing is that you live at least 25 miles away, and are at least 18 years old (or 17 and a high school graduate).  I don't know if it varies from year to year, but when I worked there in April the Commons Apartments were open (don't know if Bayside was or not), but the on-point stuff doesn't open until the week before opening weekend.  As for working weekends beforehand, I don't know if staying in a hotel would really be worth the hassle -- driving time, gas, and paying for the hotel versus the paycheck. But in all likelihood, the dorms or apartments will be open, no problem.
