Processing Out

Now is a wonderful time to think about this question. Do I have to wait til Monday to process out or can I do it Sunday? I like leaving Sandusky Sunday nights to go home, will this be possible this Sunday or will I lose my bonus $$ if I process out Sunday???
(I am still planning on working Sunday)

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight??

I processed out the night of my last day this season and I received my bonus. You can try to go to Park Op immediately after you get off work, but make sure you have a change of clothes, because you will have to turn in your uniforms there. They'll give you a paper on which you will stick your parking sticker (if you can get the dang thing off!) and then take to housing, who will then forward it to wardrobe, and it will get sent to the appropriate offices in good time. However, since it's the last day of operation, a LOT of people will be processing out so I don't know how they're going to handle it.

I worked til 4 PM on my last day, and got all processed out and was leaving Sandusky by 5:30 PM that night. Got home about 1 AM my time! Park Op allowed me to check out of housing last so I could finish packing up my car. (Housing was a bit confused though about that though)

You won't have any problems checking out on Sunday night. Since it is the last night Wardrobe should be open late ( In past years they have stayed open as late as 9:00.. but not sure if they do this anymore).. Park Op will be crammed with people coming to get their checklists, so if you can get it early I suggest it. If Wardrobe isn't open you can leave your uniform in the Park Op office.. and drop your checklist off with housing. They will then send it to your manager.. If possible, take one of your uniforms to Wardrobe on Sunday, so that you only have to worry about turning in the one uniform. Usually, our offices are a pile of bags filled with uniforms on the day after the park closes. It helps if there are only a few items..

I processed out on Sunday last year. Its not that bad if you have everything ready to go before you start work in the morning. I'm staying through this year, partly because I don't feel like driving back and getting home at 1 am by the time I say goodbye, and mainly because I just don't want to leave! I swear it gets harder each year!

Hey thanks everyone!
I am considering getting a hotel room for Sunday night (one extra night in that dorm room will KILL me) then getting up early Monday morning and processing out then. This way my truck will be all packed up and ready to come home Sunday morning, I would have had ONE good nights sleep-
then I could head home for the LAST time!!!
Man I wish CP wasnt such a long haul for me
(its not the haul persay but the routes I have to take--ugh!!!)
