Hey me and my sis still have the option to change our date to April 1st to process in earlier and were just wondering what exactly do you do while the parks not open? Like how many hours would you get during that time? We're going to be in Merchandising and she knows for sure she's working in Soak City. Also whats the likelihood of us getting into Bayside Apt's that early? ANY help would be cool thanks :)
Mostly likely you'll be helping set up where ever you are working this summer and/or helping clean up around the park before Opening Day. As for how many hours? I'm not sure how many hours you are working, and as for Bayside you'll have very good chances getting a room there.
You'd probably work a set schedule Mon-Fri. Maybe 40 hours/week? Not sure though, guess it all depends on what there is to be done. Bayside is the only housing option open that early, so you would definitely be put there. You can stay there the rest of the season, or switch over to Commons or on-point housing when they open.

You will do merchandise set - up. I did it in 2010 and 2011. You will clean and set - up the stores for the season. You will also check in orders (merchandise for the stores) for the upcoming season. Bayside will be the only housing option at the beginning (you can move later if you wish.) Starting off, you will work the typical 8 or 9 am until 5, and having a hour break from 12 - 1. Then closer to the season, they will add hours, where everyone will be working until 7 or 8 at night.

I worked in merchandise last year and arrived early for winter clean up (April 1st). When I was there, my section cleaned up the gift shops, went through last years inventory, organized new merchandise/stickers objects ect. At first we started work M-F 9-5 then it went from 9-6/8-6 and before I knew it we were working 12 hour shifts. The closer yu get to opening day the longer your shifts will be and at some point in time before the park opens you will end up working weekends. Last year in April, Bayside Apts were the only living quarters that were open, although I'm not sure if that will stay the same for this upcoming year. If you have any more questions just send me an email, I'm happy to help!

Hello i process in on may 2nd with my sister i will be working in food with the wagons/carts and she will be working in famous daves can anyone let me know what the work is that there this will be out first season.
Brian yes the park will be open at that time, so there will be plenty of work and visitors for castaway.
TifTif11 yes commons shall be open then, as that is around the time the bulk of people will start to come.
Donita wagons are the people who sell pops out of well the wagon/cart. and they sell other things like candy and energy drinks etc. Famous daves is a restaurant so there are cooks and waitresses etc.

When you process in do you have to move in to the apartments/dorms the same day? Or can you wait to move in?
You'll get your paperwork for moving into the dorms that day, but I don't believe there's any requirement to move in the same day.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
