Yep, that's fine. People bring parents/relatives with them all the time.

It sure is. And I'm just bored at work, waiting till 10 am so I can go home and sleep. So I check back here frequently.

Why would your grandma want to wait in line with you?

Im not sure. She just asked if she was allowed to wait with me. I asked her not to cause I dont want her to be standin in line forever cause she do got back problems from a previous car accident. Jus so everyone knows shes not old. Shes 53 and she looks way younger than that.

Not sure what day you're going to process in, but be prepared to wait a very long time. I went on Friday and waited 5 hours. Sunday was an even bigger day than Friday from what I heard. They changed the process this year, so even if it doesn't look like there is a huge line coming out the front of HR, it may still take a very long time. Just throwing that out there in case your grandmother doesn't want to sit around for that long.

As of 3:00 Friday afternoon, the line was just as long if not longer than when I got there at 11:00. As always, the real cause of the long wait is the fact that they only have one computer/camera/printer to do everyone's IDs with. I kept myself amused by trying to come up with any logical reason for why you wouldn't be able to use the number pad to enter data on the direct deposit computers.

It's possible that the num pad keys send a keycode that is different from the ones above the keypad and the ancient ass software can only understand the non-numpad versions.

But the software is just a telnet program. I can't imagine it would be so outdated that it doesn't have support for the number pad.
