It's hit-or-miss with parking with your ID. We got it for free at King's Island last year when I went.

yeah we had to pay for ours when we went in but we got it back when we went to guest services...I think this was mostly because it was the first day and they didn't know what to do (whether to charge us or not at the gate)...but a couple of our managers were with us as well so that might have helped...I think it depends on which parks you work for and which ones you are going to

Well when I went to Kings Island last season, we had to pay parking but got in for free.

So it must be hit or miss...

^But then you have to pay $10 to park. I would just rather take the bus.

Not if you have a platinum pass...

As far as parking at other parks goes, Kings Island made me pay. Canada's Wonderland didn't. At CW they scanned my ID like it was a seasons pass and let me park free, same for the gate. At King's Island I had to get a ticket. I can't remember if we paid for parking at Dorney Park. They let me get in free with just my Temp ID though.

Just make up a name and title and tell them that person is meeting you at the gate for a meeting. Nine times out of ten it works;)

But really, $10 is not that big of a deal. However $15 or $20 at Six Flags is enough to get me to try the above method.

Shouldn't have to pay for parking regardless of what it is. When I drove to Kings Island in 2007, they wanted me to pay, but I told them I worked for Cedar Point and that Geauga Lake allowed me to park for free in 2006. They would eventually let me park for free, as it should be.

Being that you are starting so early, you shouldn't have any problem checking in any time between 9 and 4:30, with the exception of 12-1. There shouldn't be much of a line, and you might even be the only one there.

Bayside will likely be the only housing option at that point, I don't think Commons will be open until at least the following week. Be happy if you get into Bayside, it is very hard to get into by the time the 2nd or 3rd week of April roles around.

I'm guessing building cleaning attendant will be either cleaning offices or more than likely the public areas of hotels and/or housing buildings. Not entirely sure though...

Commons usually doesn't open until Merch set up has been there for at least a week but considering we're starting later than buildings opening up times may have changed...but yes I like bayside a lot and very glad I get in there every year

Hey everybody! I"ll be processing in soon and I was wondering if I'll have time to ride a bit afterwards. *Just to let everyone know, I'm not one of those ignorant newbies who are trying to skimp off on my duties. I thought i'd ask out of my own curiosity before it killed my cat.

I can't wait, very excited, making sure I don't forget shower shoes like people have pressed on here..see you all soon!

It depends on when you process in. They may send you off to training sessions that same day, or you may have the rest of the day to yourself and do your training the following day. It all depends on when you get there and what the schedule for that day is like.
