Processing before contract

Hey Everyone!

I've applied to work at CP for the summer of 2004 and my contract starting date will be June 8, as I don't get out of school until a few days before that. I'm going to sign up to work most weekend after my contract, but I don't want to commit to any before.

Is there any way that I could head up to the Point, say for example, opening weekend, or perhaps over my spring break in April, to process in and work out my housing and some training before I start in June? My first choice is rides, so I know I'd have some additional training to do in June, but I thought maybe I could get the Housing and General training out of the way.

2004: Cedar Point Employee

Very very doubtful unless you have a very good reason. The earliest I know that you can process in is 24 hours before you start work. So in your case that would be June 7th. IMO, I think cedar point does that so some people can't take advantage of there I.D. and get into the park for free before they are really an employee of Cedar Point. Trust me the 24 hours before you start is enough time to get everything done as long as you get there early in the day. I would tell you to get there at like 8-9am the day you process in. On someday the line can be very very long.
