Problem buying platinum passes online

Hi All

I'm travelling from uk in august 2012 to visit cedar point and kings island for 9 days and realy looking forward to trip.

The problem is I've been trying to setup the 3 payment option for platinum passes online and it keeps failing with error message online error code 102, this you would think be a problem with website , but it takes the payment from my credit card, when I spoke with cedar point technical line they can't see payment taken.

As anyone else had this issue and resolved it, as I would like to sort out tickets before coming over in august, or is there a way to complaint if needed. Maybe an address to write to or maybe the account department number to call.

I had a similar problem with the address match on my UK card - I ended up using one of the post office prepaid card, although you could buy it on the gate.

Also - regarding payments taken, the credit card authorisation thing works in 2 stages:

1 - Are there enough funds available, if so it "earmarks" these
2 - Any additional checks (address match etc)

3 -once passed, the merchant asks for the payment from ther card - if stage 2 fails, the amount will never be taken, but still "earmarked".

Looks like the website doesn't like certain uk cards. I know there's enough money available as it also did same thing with my bank account card. Same problem didn't like card address, I'll proberbly buy on gate on arrival now as I know if I pay cash won't get same problems.
