Premium parking?

I noticed that last year there was premium parking which I assume you could pay more for. I always used to access this parking when we went after 5 because employees were always leaving freeing up spots and no one seemed to know about it. Anyhow, now that I have a premium pass, does that include the close parking? I'm assuming not, but had to ask. I'll be travelling up to the park a lot with my 6 year old son this summer and I'd like to know what the closest parking would be. We'll be coming mid day a lot so I don't want to have to park at the very back. Do you think the lots near Soak City would be our best option? Any advice you have is appreciated... For safety reasons, I really don't want to have to walk far a night by ourselves.

Thanks!

Premium parking is not included, but i believe that you just have to pay the difference from regular parking(since that is included with a platinum pass) to premium parking. I think it was $8 last year, cant remember, never used it.

Yes, with the Platinum Pass you can upgrade to premium parking by paying the difference between regular and premium parking.
