Pre-Coastermania Raptor Jo style 5/31
B/F and I arrive in Sandusky around 1pm Thursday.
B/f along for the ride and to be a "hotel room guard" literally since he has a bruised knee.
(Note: if I tell you there is a particular horse that will ALWAYS ditch in on a barrel-PLEASE believe me-my Mr Macho didnt and....well....
horse 1-b/f-0) He could have gone with me if I wanted to haul him around in a wheelchair but knew better than to even ask that of me. Get him settled (on the bed-remote in hand) and off to CP I go. I checked row 1 parking just to see if there was anything availiable...yup! Get in park and of course ride Raptor 1st. Saw all my Raptor buds-gave/got hugs-wait was around 45 minutes (ugh) then went off to visit all my CP family. Walked into the marketing office and asked for my fav pr guy and the woman asked me who I was and 3 people said "thats Raptor Jo!!"....it was TOO funny! :)
After making my visiting "rounds" headed to MF.
Got to ride with a "virgin"-he did pretty well, and that made lifetime ride 98 for me. Back to Raptor I went. Each and every ride the line got smaller and smaller (kiddies leaving to go back to school-FINALLY) by the time park closed I had a total of 17 laps in, the last 2 of which were rerides thanks to one of my crew buds ;). I love the way who ever is doing spiels or on controls just HAS to say my name-you all know how I hate to be the center of attention.

Closed up park-back to truck exhausted already.
Got to hotel room and b/f had a nice warm bubble bath waiting on me, candles and a bottle of wine (all the girls sigh!) he told me he knew I would need it cause I had been out "Raptoring". I opted to skip the wine (who needs booze when ya got CP?)
and ended up ........... well ... never mind ;)
Went to sleep around midnight, wake up call at 4am
it was Coastermania time!!!

Just a thought here Jo... I think that one would have to ride MF at least three times until they lose their "virginity" . My reasoning is simple,, after ride one,,you are too blown away to recall anything but your own name. I think after ride two,,,you would be able to say,,yeah, I thought thats what happened..and then by ride three,,you are officially broken in to the Force and be beyond virginal status and on your way to being a full fledged Mf junkie whore.
I know that is a bit graphic,, but we are talking of Millenium Force.
I intend on becoming a junkie ho this fall.
Secondly I must comment re: the b/f......you got a keeper there! I thought that kinda stuff only happend on t.v! All the more reason for me to runaway to the Point! lol

Kruggie-actually a coaster "virgin" is someone who has NEVER ridden a certain coaster before. Once it is ridden (conquered?) they are no longer a virgin to it. I've ridden MF a total of 100x
and Raptor over 400x-so I guess Im a junkie *****??
As for b/f....he is certainly "Mr Romance" ;), but not romantic enough to understand why I would possibly want to get married on Raptor or why I spend so much time at CP. If he would just admit too that I am a better rider than he (horses that is) it would do him good. He's better than a CP frog, thats for sure
and there is just something about a real cowboy in their wranglers.....

Heh heh,, JUnkie HO! It's all good! You have Raptor in your veins and suffer withdraw in the off season.....yup,,,junkie. Perhaps we should leave off the HO part though,,,it sounds a bit crass don't ya think? Unless you would be willing to sell yourself for a ride? hee hee! I would consider and probably not blink twice at say, not paying my gas bill for a month to afford a trip....thats where I draw the line!
Oh,, I also think that you would definatly lose your veil should you get married on Raptor, plus your onlooking guests may just see exactly how high up you are wearing your garter.....mmmmm...maybee hard to stuff your dress on to the ride, you would definatly come off wrinkled.
