Possible to get "UN-BLACKLISTED"?

I worked in 2010 as a ride host. Well I supposed to stay until the end of October and I ended up getting very sick to where I was passing out. The Cedar Point doctors wouldn't do anything for me (and you know you HAVE to go to the CP doctor). And I got a call from my father saying that my grandma's cancer had gotten worse and only had little time left (I promise I'm not making this up). Anyways, I went in and talked to my supervisor about my situation and she was upset that I had asked to leave. She asked if I could do weekends instead and I told her I'd ask my roommate if she would give me a ride since she was doing weekends and lived close to me. She decided later that day that she didn't like it there and was going to quit. I went back the next day to talk to my supervisor again and told her the situation and she was not happy at all. She got mad saying "How can you just leave your crew behind like that. You're just going to leave them with one less person because you need to go home?" things like that. I loved working there. I had the time of my life. I was wondering if anyone knew a way that I can get hired back? Thank you for reading.

I would talk to your manager who you worked with that season.

2010: Millennium Force & Mantis
2011: Raptor
2012: Raptor, Sky Ride and Wicked Twister
2013: Co-Team Leader of Sky Ride
2014: Supervisor of Slingshot/Skyscraper

I'm sure you'll be okay. You don't really get truly black listed unless you owe money.

How do I find out if I owe money? I was never told if I did owe anything.

HR I think handles the money side of things...

Glad I'm not the only one who had a sour encounter w/ leadership at the park though..

Best of luck moving forward however, with something like this and a few years between it I think you'd be ok though

I thought I was black listed as well, because I left before my time was up. However when I called HR to see if I was black listed they told me try to apply & if I had any problems to call back. My application went through with no problem, so try to apply & see what happens. Your more than likely ok & not black listed.

Just because you were un-blacklisted, or even worked there before and filled your contract, doesn't mean you will be rehired. Regardless for which position you applied for, hiring managers will seek a reference from your old manager before hiring you.

When I go to the CP website to apply I get the "Based on your past employment experience, you are ineligible for re-hire at this time blah blah...." message. If I call HR and talk to them, could they make it so I can actually apply?

^There is a black list, and it's easy to get on, lol...If you don't finish outprocessing or get uniforms turned in, easy as that.

Grammar, get some, again, lol

There were people who did far worse this then I did and got fired. I did not get fired also there was someone who quit early and got to proccess right back in a day later after realizing his mistake so i am sure i can go back as well with no problems. All i need to do is know who to talk to

You didn't show up to work several times, no call no shows

You got into a slight argument

You left the company/got fired

You didn't agree with the terms of employment

That's enough

If you quit you can not be fired

Ok...I'm tired of being semi nice

I'll respond with what I was going to say in the other thread that got deleted because of some of your remarks.

1. I'm not stupid as you insist. I'm an active duty Airman in the U.S. Air Force, currently a Nurse without a degree basically in the hospital I work at.

2. Grammar & not using obscene words is in the terms of service, you should look at it, it's right here: http://pointbuzz.com/Forums/Thread/14492.aspx

3. The managers probably can single you out quite easily. You listed work locations, where you'd like to work, you contacted HR, listed prior managers, etc. That is probably enough information to find you.

4. Next time you try to use obscene words to put me down. Try harder next time. Just throwing it out there, when you go through military basic training, you get alot of verbal abuse thrown your way. What you said makes you look like a princess compared to my Drill Instructors. Nice try, better luck next time..

5. To put it bluntly, your lack of spelling, proof reading, use of obscenities, failure to adjust, combativeness, frustration, and excuses are going to make it easy to say this: You're not getting rehired, especially now. If you even get rehired and IF you make it to the point, I would almost bet you'd do something to get fired again. Lets put it bluntly, you got enough points to get fired. Actions speak alot louder than words. Right now you're screaming the F bomb all the way to the CP Peninsula and they hear it loud and clear.

Your turn princess :)

I did not get fired and your words do not hurt I been through army basic training at Ft. Benning GA so I know what you mean when you mention basic training. Btw even though you are harsh thank you for your service.

I couldn't agree more.
If he keeps it up he will get booted from here.

Plus now he mentioned military service, have to mention that on job apps.

He'll be even easier for leadership to find now...

Sigh...I was somewhat straight to the point at first, first post with ya kid, I was pretty relaxed and just up front with you. You posted the same thing like ten times, you just kept getting worse and worse. I hate to say but you're digging your own hole mate. Only way to dig yourself out right now honestly is to shut up, wait patiently like all the other kids currently waiting for interviews, and freaking pray to something you believe in (Thor is acceptable) and hope you get an interview and possibly hired. But your actions alone here have contributed to that chance diminishing. You're lucky your vulgarity got one thread removed already, hopefully leadership didn't see it.
