Pop-up ads on GTTP

As I've said a thousand times... LEAVE THE WINDOW OPEN. If you close it, it just reappears. I nuke them as soon as I can, but the change is not instant.

I just got one for Investor's Business Daily on every screen I visit.

As I've said many, many times now... URL's don't do me a bit of good. In fact, all I have to do is login to DoubleClick and look and I can see which ads pop-up. Since I probably check the sites before I do anything else, I already know there are pop-ups and will deal with them appropriately.

Please save yourself the keystrokes. :)

I just had 5 of the same things (Casino Online) pop up and my compiuter froze for 5 minutes.

Actually, that Visa card with 9.9% fixed is not bad...as long as there is no annual fee. But, if you do not like the ads and they upset you that much then....na na na na - na na na na - hey hey he - goooooddddbyeeeeeee!

Gee, I guess it's a good thing that, so far as my computer is concerned, doubleclick's ad servers no longer exist.....

I think that company is on the fast track to putting itself out of business. I never objected to the banners until they started popping new windows that kept crashing my browser.

What a bunch of @$$#*!($ they've turned out to be.

Casino.on.net popped up a new window for every page I loaded (lots of middle-mouse-button clicking today!)

I too suffered through it. If you aren't a CoasterBuzz member and haven't heard, DoubleClick is dropping me, so that means I'm out of a lot of money every month, and that's bad. We will do something new with CoasterBuzz that should help (I hope). We'll continue to get a little money from Burst Media as well.

DC disappears from these sites Nov. 15.
