What at Cedar Point gets a generally unfavorable rating from many folks, but you stick by it through thick and thin?
And on the flip side, what does everybody else get excited about that you just couldn't care less for?
===================
For me, the first is probably the Chuck Wagon Inn in Frontiertown. I haven't run into many people for whom this is a favorite, but you get good-sized portions of tasty food and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
For the second, I just don't care much for Snake River Falls. It's too much water, and not enough fun. I much prefer White Water Landing and Thunder Canyon.

Mean Streak; the "black sheep" of the family always take a major booty-whopping from everyone, but she's still my baby. Will be with her until the end. On the other side, I agree that I don't care to much about Snake River.

If you're like me and you think Cedar Point should get the B/M Flyer in 2004, give me a "Hell Yeah!"
Maybe it's just because it was the first major coaster that I ever rode, but I don't get all the bashing of Mean Streak. Sure it's a little rough, but all and all I think it to be a great ride.
Secondly I think that Millennium Force is very over-rated. Now granted it does have an amazing first drop, but after that it's pretty average. If you ask me Magnum is ten times better than the Force.

Pearl Jam + Cedar Point=Heaven on earth.
Too Many Coasters? In my opinion there is no such thing.

1-well, i wouldn't have seen this one coming, but I LOVE snake river falls, and obviously, everyone else dosn't:|
2-Mantis, everyone loves, I could care less for

~What Are You Looking AT?~
I don't know if they get 'bad reviews' as much as they get overlooked...but I'm just WILD over the Swan Boats. Don't ask me why. Even after destroying a camera while pedaling into the fountain, I can't get enough.
But the Raptor has dropped IMHO into the fair-to-middlin' category. After Talon ( a little better), Fire Dragon ( little better when dueling), Ice Dragon (way better when dueling) and Montu (are you kidding?) I'm no longer impressed. Entertained, yes. Impressed, no.

I don't see how they can possibly call themselves a family park if they keep putting in coasters.
Easy, they balance the coasters with family attractions. Camp Snoopy in particular was huge. Snoopy on Ice, Snoopy rooms in Breakers... that damn dog is everywhere!

I agree with Jeff on this one. We were hesitant to take our 3 year to CP this year, until I checked out the list of rides available for her height. She's currently at 38" which means she can ride most of the flat rides (with an adult), all the kiddie rides (which are numerous and spread out through the park), they have Snoopy shows for the kids, etc. Most people don't realize how much of a family park CP is unless they have a family. We are really looking to our first "family" trip to CP this year and making it an annual event for years to come.

Never judge a park by it's coaster count.

Power Tower is one ride I care nothing about. I don't like the way it looks, I don't like the way it sounds, and I don't like the way it rides. I think I'd prefer looking at an abandoned Jungle Larry's.
Well, My fav is the Scrambler(yes, bash me already come on!), but i tend to like the dizzy-im-gonna-puke feeling after you get off...
The flip side - Demon drop, everyone i know loves it, but it just doesnt "kick" me

Fear the Mullet!
I Love all the coasters. Each one has its own flavor and caters to its own audience. I think a ride that often gets overlooked that I LOVE is Ocean Motion. It's way over on the beach side where there is rarely traffic (which could change this year), offers great airtime, and due to the lack of people it can be ridden over and over and over again.
One thing I could care less for though are all the people that wear black leather pants or dark shirts and jeans in the middle of July!
I'm suprised nobody has said Disaster Transport yet.
Lots of people constatnly bash DT. It's not my favorite ride, but it's on my list.
-----------------
Something I love and others don't? The Frontier Inn pizza place. Every trip where dinner is expected often leads to the, "hotel of pie." I especially like the side porch next to White Water Landing where it is peaceful and you can catch a breather from the action.
Something everyone else seems to like, but I don't? The Midway games. My wife and I hate walking around with a stuffed animal, heh-heh.
I like DT as a coaster, but the effects do nothing for me! Theres a lot of excitment over WT. But personally, I could care less! I know why CP put it in and all, but after riding S:UE at SFWOA I think after a while it gets boring! Who knows maybe i'll think different when I ride it this year!
