Point Buzz User Map

TwistedCircuits's avatar

Greetings y'all and a beautiful Sunday it is.

Thanks to Dennis Urbans post "Your location, where you from" I've created a Google My Maps map of Point Buzz users who posted a location in the topic.

It is organized and marked by (nearest) city or posted location, with the users names in the description. You can search the map for a username and it will show you the city in search results.

Here it is! https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=19SVpUUKGY38pt9qri7cRFck36Ms7L9ji

When requesting a location addition please be specific on city/state, there is state to state overlap on Zip Codes and these may not be able to be added unless they are unique.

Please limit this topic only to anything you would like added to the map (mainly your location), thank you! I hope everyone enjoys it!

Thank you for creating it as it was something I wanted when I started the location thread but don't know how to do it.

It's actually kind of cool to see the distribution of all the pointbuzzers on the map. Seems like most of us are from Ohio or Michigan with some outliers.

Very cool of you to do this. I'm actually from Monroe, MI, though, not Monroe, WI.

Been working to keep it updated.

As special requests come in on either thread, I try and do my research to add the best location to the map when the location is hard to find on google maps verbatim (especially those who are friends of Mr. Musk and enjoy non-terrestrial residences). Please let me know if any specific locations are incorrect and need edited.

Why do they call it common sense, when it's so infrequently used?

Its KittyKitty14 part of the time.

If you click on any pin the description that pops up with the pin contains any and all users who noted that as their location. I've thrown some jokes people made in as well so have fun finding those.

This also is how you can search by user, its searching the descriptions.

Zip code 49431 here.

A quick google search of the zip shows Mason Co. , Mi.
