PLEASE HELP

Hey my question has to do with money well kinda

anyway I live in michigan (near the middle of the state ) My mom has been layed off . I currently dont have a job , and wont have one until i go to CP. I have a large 94 van which takes a lot of gas. I currently have about 200 dollars saved up for gas . My question is dose anyone know of any ideas such as fundraisers that are cheep to start but can give me money quick . I dont have family members to ask for help and i really want to work @ CP this summer but cant do so unless i have the gas to drive down there and my mom can drive back home .

Any Ideas are greatly appriciated

Everyone loves candy. Go to Sam's Club, get a huge thing of that fundraiser candy, and make those dolluhs.

what city do you live in?

Like stated above candy is a good start, also go to your church (or any local church if you don't go) and explain what your wanting to do, and the difficulties therein, and see if they will either sponsor you or at least ask the congregation to give a bit to help.
Check out http://kickstarter.com and create a page. Pass the page around. That way people feel better knowing exactly what your doing, how much your hoping to get, and that the money will go just for that.

What if you didn't drive, and you took a train or bus? I don't know where you're coming from, but that may be a cheaper option.

Yeah, maybe you should check Greyhound and see how much it would cost.

I live in midland michigan

if i took a bus i would have to drive to flint (over a hour and half away from where i live ) get on a train/bus then take a taxi to cedar point . My mom wants to come with me so that she knows i have everythign all seteled.

Not to be rude but i have and it cost gas to get to the train station the closest is in flint which is over a hour and half away.

This may or may not help, but I think $200 would be enough to get you here...honestly. I drove to Ohio from Florida (16 hours) and it cost less than $150 on three fill ups. I mean I don't drive a van, and this was about a month ago on cheaper gas prices. But taken that into consideration, I'm sure you would make it here ok. So the $200 should definitely get you here. IMO.

On another note, I think a good way to make money is to sell things on ebay you don't need. Idk if you've considered this, but it's true when they say one mans trash is another mans treasure. :-)

I used www.costtodrive.com and chose a 94 Ford E250 as an example and it says it would cost $55.21 at $3.59/gal and 220 miles. $200 would be more than enough. $110 roundtrip

You could always carpool, tons of people from Michigan are working at Cedar Point this summer.

I dont know of any that are in my area thow to car pool i would have no issue with car pooling ,
