platinum pass renewal

I was just had a quick question about the platinum pass renewal. My friend got a platinum pass at kings dominion last year, we are going to cedar point next week and I was wondering if he can just renew his kings dominion pass and use it at Cedar Point without going to Kings Dominion. I was fairly confident he could but I just wanted to double check.

Yes, you can do so online. As soon as you renew, it becomes activated for use at any park.
