Planning questions?

Hey all. I'm finally getting to the point for the first time ever. I'm driving 17 hours from Oklahoma City to get there.

Anyway, I just have a few questions hoping some of you could answer them.

First off, I'm staying at Lighthouse Point. So I will be getting into the park an hour early. Where should I head first during this hour? Also I'll be in the park for 3 days.

Second, I'm wonder if I should take advantage of the fast lane system. I know for sure I will be buying them for one day but since this will be the first and probably last time I will visit the point (for a long time atleast) I'm wondering if I should purchase them for all 3 days.

And last is it worth checking out the lake? Just to sit and chill out there, I'll be with my girlfriend this entire time.

Since you'll be staying on property and entering through the Soak City gate, head to Maverick first, get a few rides then head to Millenium Force. Also after driving that far to visit CP, DEFINATELY get FL the first day you're there. That should allow you to ride everything in the park at least once and probably multiple times. After day 1 you can decide if you want/need FL for the additional days. Can't tell you anything about the lake, when I drive 7 hrs to CP - it's all about the coasters!

During the three days you'll have to time to enjoy the lake. There are several places around Lighthouse Point to just sit and veg. Also, great views from the restaurant at Sandcastle closeby.
